How do I configure my Phone/Mobile Device for Outlook Live ?


Possible Solution:

Common Server Settings:

Incoming:

Server/host: pod51000.outlook.com
Mail type: Outlook, Microsoft Exchange, Corporate Sync, or Active Sync

Security type: SSL
Port: 443
Name: Your full DU email address (username@duq.edu)

Password: (Enter your MultiPass password)
If asked for Domain Name use: DUQUESNE

Outgoing (if prompted):

Server/host: pod51000.outlook.com
Security Type: TLS
Port: 587
Name: Your full DU email address (username@duq.edu)

Password: (Enter your MultiPass password)


**NOTES:

-For Nexus Android Galaxy phones, outgoing Security Type is STARTTLS

-If you use Blackberry you must enter an "incorrect" password the first time and then
choose "I will provide settings"
-If you use Palm Pre you must select EAS for setup
